I spent 4 months at Digital Extremes (May-August 2024) working as a C++ Gameplay Programmer on Warframe, a long-running third-person shooter/ninja action game with more than 80 million players. Play as Tenno and explore the Origin System while cutting through millions of enemies like butter.
I helped develop new boss abilities for the Technocyte Coda in the major Warframe: 1999 update, as well as fixing bugs across the game, including a bug with the game's engine that affected all raycast weapons in the game, and fixing several softlock bugs that could affect players if a host transition happened during a scripted event.
The game uses a custom C++ game engine, alongside Lua scripting.
